Here it is a few weeks later and we are getting ready to leave the hospital with our newborn son and the serpentine belt is popped off and there's no power steering. Waiting for the manager to call me back as they have to call him at home because they aren't supposed to have one on duty until later tonight and the girl can't find the belts on the record.
I got an inspection, alignment, two new tires, and a light bulb for my tail light. There was a mix up with the pricing and he handled quickly and efficently the work done to the car was done well and I would deffinitly recomend using this auto center again.
Very pricey for service and the service was lackluster. We worth looking around for other service stations.
Paul, the employee that worked with me, helped make my experience amazing here. He was friendly and understanding.
Update Dropping down to ONE STAR!!! You might not get what you pay for here it's shady! I went in because I needed my headlights aligned! And the Firestone said there machine was broken so I tried this Sears (even after what happened the last time I was here! I clearly asked if they had the machine to adjust headlights! And the kid said yes! The price was really high $49 for a 3 minute fix but that's not the issue I was watching through the window and saw the mechanic using the garage door to do the alignment!!! (NOT WHAT I WAS PAYING FOR!) I asked the kid that took my work order what was going on because I could do that myself!!! I was paying for a exact alignment not close enough!!! He first said the mechanic was doing this for years but I think he knew they were busted because he went out there and talked to the mechanic and came back with a excuse that the alignment cup was either missing or broken!! And they were not going to charge me!!! I think they also saw the dash cam recording everything ( I have a 2 channel front and back HD,) so be careful getting anything done at this Sears Auto! They are shady as you can get! I will definitely never go to this location again! For any reason this was strike 3 the first time I took a small camper I'm to have the brakes checked and another customer said they hit the Roof AC on the Bay door because it wasn't open enough (the mechanic denied it even though I had a neutral witness) then I took a Jeep in there to install air shocks on it and asked to have the air connection facing a certain way but they put them on backwards (I did get a 50% refund but it just shows they do as they wish!!!! So take great care and caution if you have anything done here watch them like a hawk they will try get as much out of your wallet and not do the work as you paid for! I'm surprised they haven't been investigated yet for fraud! I am pulling all the dash cam video as I write this to see exactly what I my have!!! No they didn't charge me but they were going to if I didn't catch them!
Th e following week we returned to have the brake pads and rotors replaced. Again, they took forever.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was there last Wednesday to get new front tires and an alignment. They put two tires in and said they couldn't do an alignment because "my front tire rod was frozen" they quoted me a price of 800 something to fix it. Yesterday while i was on my way to get a second opinion my tires started acting strange, I pulled into the car shop and come to find out my lug nuts were never tightened from sears putting new tires on.
WATCH THEM AT ALL TIMES!! THEY ARE SHADY!!!!! GET A DASH CAM IF YOU HAVE TOO!
In the last 3 weeks we had well over $1,000 worth of work done on our Chrysler 300. They replaced the alternator, battery, a.c. belt, serpentine belt and a tire on the first trip. It took over 7 HOURS for them to get it done, had every guy working on it at one point or another, and they stated to my husband how difficult it was to get the belts on and they were sorry it took so long. An hour after we finally left we had to return because they had not correctly installed the battery and the car almost shut off while we were driving.
Also there is nothing wrong with my tire iron, just sears trying to rip me off And evidently kill me from not tightening my lug nuts!
