I stayed here for a night and it was a comfortable place to stay. The manager was very nice and the rest of the staff was very friendly and eager to help in any way they could. I asked about the pictures that were posted for the hotel and believe me that is not how the rooms looked. In fact they let me tour the rest of the rooms. A very naughty ex employee posted the pictures of the rooms in mid clean outs. Needless to say she no longer works there. All in all it was a good place to stay and the pricepoint is acrually EXTREMELY REASONABLE.
the rugs needed vacuuming, the table need waxing and on half the outlet worked. I also asked if there was a room available with a refrigerator, due to the fact my husband is diabetic and take insulin, i was told the rooms were being saved for the baseball team that was coming in (which not all showed up). I was given a dish pan which looked dirty and told i can buy ice and put my drinks in that. I was there for three day and had to make my own bed, what a disappointment because i really loved that place one time plus the price we paid we could have gone to a Corporate hotel and got better service (but we like to keep it local). next time it won't ever be Murphy Inn.
Very afforable daily, weekly rates. This place has single rooms and executive suites with kitchenettes. Some thing for everyone. Quiet and conveniently located with shopping across the street. Perfect.
I stayed at this hotel several times through out the last 15 yrs, but this will be the very last time i use this hotel, the staff is nice but not very accommodating, i was giving a room that need some cleaning.
