Everyone at the practice has treated not only our animals but us like family. I know that when my animals are in the hands of anyone in the practice whether it be for laser treatment, surgery, or boarding they are in the best hands possible. Dr. Assad takes the time to personally talk to us about the care being provided and what he is doing and why to treat our animals. It puts our minds at ease every time our animals are treated. We are not clients to anyone in this clinic we are their family and that is the best feeling.
I had a cat emergency a few months ago. It was a Sunday evening. The on call vet at my regular vet was an hour and a half away. They saw me without an issue even though I was not a regular patient. Unfortunately, we had to put my sweet boy down. The doctor and staff were fantastic and treated us with kindness and respect. Gizmo's last moments were in kind hands. Thank you

A family pet was in need of emergency care. She was bleeding profusely. Her regular vet would only do emergency care an hour and a half away. After calling other offices nearby and being turned away Johnstown Veterinary agreed to see her. They were AWESOME! Kind , caring, and they made a high anxiety situation much better. Bell was better when we left the vet and we were happy she was taken care of.
Everyone who works here is compassionate, friendly, and empathetic. Dr Assad treated my dog as if she was his own, and on the worst of worst days a pet owner will have, reassured me and the family we were making the right decision. Competitive prices, takes care credit if needed as well. Open longer than most vets in area. Highly recommended! Very happy with experience.
